I bought Her off showroom floor, also She spent time stored under ground & heated...many people do not go for a purple hardtop convertible with a quite set of dual exhaust with a soft V-8 rumble that only gets 19 mpg. Both a folding roof hard top & a hard Locking pick up bed cover. She & l Traveled all of Western USA. Top down Full time, except when raining, I am not a fan of wet real leather seats. I have slept in pick-up bed many times when not raining & only a few bitting bugs. I have put about 46,069 miles on Her so far. Than is kinda' rare in another way. Two sets of real factory O.E.M. wheels from Italy, one set in true high polished chrome & another set in silver satin with four real factory studdeded snow tires from Finland.

Introduced as a late 2003 model, SSR remained unchanged mechanically in 2004. Ricochet Silver and Ultra Violet (first seen on the 2003 Signature Series SSRs) were added to the list of available colors. During the model year the color of the standard silver wheels was changed from Sterling Silver to Ultra Silver, and a factory chrome wheel was offered as an additional cost option. A Cockpit Windbreak and Satin Chrome Auxiliary Gauge Package (late model year availability) joined the list of Regular Production Accessories that could be ordered.
Total prodution for 2004 model year was 10,676 units
